As we reflect on our first year of operation and the activities that have provided valuable insights to industry and government, we’re proud to continue supporting Australia’s essential industries.

Built on the foundation established by Skills Impact, we’ve carried forward the expertise, values and relationships needed to strengthen our work and support the evolving skill needs of industry through transparent, collaborative and respectful engagement.

This year, we collaborated with more than 4,000 industry stakeholders and 300+ members to research workforce challenges and opportunities. Together, we worked on 14 projects, contributed to multiple government initiatives, and made significant progress in improving national qualifications and units of competency. We also brought together the necessary governance framework and networks to help guide our JSC work.

There is more to our story this year, which you can discover in our Year in Review report and the video below.

We would like to thank all of you for your meaningful contributions. Your input has been crucial to our research into Australia’s workforce challenges – and in turn has provided industry and government with greater understanding needed to inform decision-making around skills and training.
