Earlier this year, we shared that Jobs and Skills Australia (JSA) was collecting feedback on the Core Skills Occupation List (CSOL), a list that outlines the skills needs of Australia and informs the national migration strategy.
This week, the Government revealed the new CSOL, comprised of more than 450 occupations, including in the construction, agriculture, cyber security, health, and education sectors.
The list is based on labour market analysis and stakeholder consultation undertaken by JSA. It will provide part of the criteria for the Skills in Demand visa and the permanent Employer Nomination Scheme.
