Michael is an experienced quality assurance manager with 15 years of working across the FMCG sector. He is currently the Internal Auditor and Quality Assurance Supervisor at Thomas Foods International. He is passionate about driving continuous improvement while pursuing lean and logical systems and has extensive experience working within the meat industry and supporting skills development.

Michael’s previous experience includes Quality Systems Manager at Big River Pork; Industry Advisor on food safety, welfare and biosecurity; Chair of the Meat Industry Reference Committee; Deputy Chair of the Pork Processor Referral Group; Member of Australian Pork Limited, Abattoir Biosecurity Working Group; and Member of the APL African Swine Fever Technical Panel.

Michael holds a Diploma in Food Science & Technology, a Certificate IV in Meat Safety, a Certificate IV in Quality Assurance and a Certificate IV in Frontline Management.
