The 2024 Workforce Plan has being updated to consider all stakeholder feedback and submitted to the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR). Once approved, it will be published on our website.
The Workforce Plan describes industry identified workforce challenges and skill opportunities to inform industry, government and the VET sector about changes needed to meet skill needs. It also paves the way for the Department’s approval of projects.
This year’s version builds upon the Initial Workforce Plan with updated data and analysis, which was validated and enhanced through ongoing stakeholder consultation. Future editions of the Workforce Plan will be guided by the JSC Stakeholder Forum, with greater focus on meeting industry needs.
