Seafood Industry Australia (SIA) and the Fisheries Research and Development Corporation (FRDC) have collectively developed the Seafood Careers website to promote and support careers in Australia’s seafood industry.
Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry Murray Watt highlighted the platform’s significance, emphasising its role in providing direct access to training, career paths, and employment opportunities within the seafood industry. Minister Watt expressed the government’s pride in the industry and its commitment to workforce development, stating that the website will showcase the diverse and rewarding career options available, aligning with the government’s priorities in agriculture, fisheries, and forestry.
