The Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) has approved an extended transition period for some of the recently updated agriculture, horticulture, conservation and ecosystem management qualifications.

Trainers now have until 22 January 2025 to deliver training, assessment and certification of these qualifications. This permits new enrolments and commencements throughout the transition period, with all students required to either complete or transfer to the replacement qualification by the transition end date.
The qualifications will remain on the RTOs scope of registration until the end of the extended transition period.
