Industry Skill Standards Development Manager and Strategic Training Package Review Specialist
Tom has many years’ experience in secondary school teaching, retail management, human resources, vocational education and training, learning and development consulting, delivery and assessment of Certificate IV Training and Assessment, developing training and assessment resources and project management.
Over the last six years, Tom has successfully managed several major projects to review and develop qualifications, skill sets and competency units over several training packages. In his current role, Tom leads the internal development team and is responsible for technical writing capabilities and staff development.
Before joining Skills Insight, Tom was a training package project manager with the Construction and Property Services Industry Skills Council, a training programs manager with the Master Builders Association of Victoria, and a curriculum maintenance manager for Building Industries for Victoria. He holds a Bachelor of Arts, a Diploma in Education, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, a Diploma of Management and a Diploma of Training and Assessment.
