A recent Skills Review examined current and emerging veterinary nursing practices across a range of species and contexts. These insights, together with guidance from the Technical Committee, are informing updates to training package products so they better reflect real-world skills and knowledge.
National and online consultation workshops will run early next year, coinciding with the release of draft materials for broad stakeholder feedback. These sessions will outline the proposed updates and explain how to provide input on the draft qualifications, skill sets and units of competency.
