Initial desktop research followed by extensive stakeholder consultation has been used to identify the opportunities and challenges facing the textiles, clothing and footwear workforce and to assess if the national qualifications meet industry needs.
Thank you to everyone who participated in this project. Stakeholder consultations including face-to-face and online meetings, online forums and surveys, along with input from the Subject Matter Expert Working Group have resulted in ten recommendations.
The recommendations are included in the final project report which has been shared with the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations and is now available on the project webpage.
