Skills Insight is working with industry to update veterinary nursing training products to reflect the skills required to work with a range of species across diverse practice settings.
Draft qualifications, skill sets and units of competency are now available for broad stakeholder feedback, with national in-person and online consultation workshops scheduled. Key areas for review and discussion include:
- changes to entry requirements for the qualifications
- workplace requirements for assessment
- flexibility and usability of qualification structures
- significant content updates to Veterinary Nursing units.
