Thanks to the contributions of everyone involved in this project, a safety induction program has been developed to support confident and consistent safety skills for new entrants into the meat processing industry.
A report with recommendations for implementation of the program was submitted to the Department of Employment and Workforce Relations (DEWR) for consideration and is available to download.
Work is now underway to produce an adoption strategy and launch the program so it can be freely accessed by industry.
