Veterinary nursing techniques are crucial for providing integral animal care and treatment across different species and contexts, requiring a broad range of skills.

As part of the Veterinary Nursing Review project, Skills Insight is consulting with the veterinary sector to understand their diverse workforce needs. This includes exploring how they can be better supported by nationally endorsed qualifications and other training package products.

Share your insights

The Veterinary Nursing Survey provides an opportunity for you to share insights from your experience. These insights will complement existing research and our other information-gathering strategies to better understand how new opportunities arising from qualification reform can shape more effective training package products for veterinary nursing.

To learn how veterinary nursing skills are being applied in different job roles, locations and contexts, we need input from multiple perspectives. This means hearing from a range of people with knowledge of veterinary nursing, including:

  • people with experience in veterinary nursing
  • people associated with veterinary nursing, such as veterinarians, employers, colleagues, supervisors, students.

If you have insights to share, please take the opportunity to participate in the Veterinary Nursing Survey.

Survey closes: Sunday 4 May 2025.
