Skills Insight is preparing a submission to the Australian Parliament’s Joint Select Committee on Artificial Intelligence.
We want to hear how AI is being used, trialled or considered across the agribusiness, fibre, furnishing, food, animal and environment care industries.
Your feedback will help us understand the opportunities, risks, barriers and workforce capability needed to support safe, practical and responsible AI adoption.

What we mean by AI
For this consultation, AI includes systems that use data, rules or models to support tasks such as prediction, decision-making, pattern recognition, monitoring, content generation or interaction.
This may include AI used in software, sensors, machinery, robotics, forecasting tools, decision-support systems or generative AI.
If you are unsure whether your example involves AI, you can still share it and explain what the technology does.
