Workforce planning in focus at the Developing Northern Australia Conference

Jobs and Skills Councils (JSCs) are proud to support the Developing Northern Australia Conference, which brings together key Northern Australian decision-makers to support the strategic delivery of the Developing Northern Australia Plan. 

A group of JSCs will host a workshop and interactive booth to gather insights about workforce challenges to support local industries to shape JSC workforce plans, and to support the development of the Northern Australia Workforce Development Plan. 

We look forward to meeting with conference attendees and brainstorming ways to help identify practical, place-based strategies to support emerging industries, local needs, and the participation of First Nations peoples. Insights gathered will be shared with key workforce planning bodies to ensure workforce strategies reflect regional priorities, First Nations perspectives and the needs of remote communities.
