Felicity Richards is a Tasmanian farmer with a wealth of governance experience. In addition to her involvement with the Skills Insight board, she is the Chair of Farmsafe Australia and the Tasmanian Biosecurity Advisory Committee, and a director at TasFarmers and Skills Impact.
Before she returned to the family farm in 2013, Felicity completed a law degree at the Australian National University and pursued a career in policy development and regulatory frameworks for ten years.
She and her husband Mark now manage a beef enterprise in northern Tasmania, while also raising three young children. With an enthusiasm for process, data collection and analysis, Felicity’s portfolio in the family business spans Human Resources, Accounting, Workplace Health and Safety, Compliance and Risk.
Felicity has completed the Tasmanian Leaders I-Lead program and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors’ course.
She jumps at the opportunity to get on her horse and out in the paddock around livestock whenever time permits.
