Skills Insight and MINTRAC have developed a safety induction program to support confident and consistent safety skills for new meat processing entrants.
A report with recommendations for implementation of the program was submitted to the Department of Employment and Workforce Relations (DEWR) and is available to download.
Work is underway to produce an adoption strategy and launch the program so it can be freely accessed by industry.
