A new review is underway to investigate workforce demand, training barriers and pathway opportunities for textile mechanics across Australia’s textiles, clothing and footwear sector. The project will help build an evidence base to support sustainable training and career pathways for this specialist occupation, with consultation playing a key role throughout the review.
