A new project is underway to examine workforce and training needs across Australia’s timber manufacturing sector.
This project will investigate current and emerging skills requirements, workforce capability and skills gaps, training participation, and the alignment of existing training products with industry needs.
Findings will inform evidence-based recommendations to support workforce development, skills planning and future training product considerations.
Stakeholders will have opportunities to contribute through consultation activities from October 2026.
