You have the opportunity to help improve understanding about VET workforce challenges in rural, regional and remote Australia, and test potential solutions.
Following initial consultations with a sample of 30 registered training organisations, we are continuing to consult with training providers and industry to investigate barriers and approaches to attracting educators to regional, rural and remote locations.
Throughout May we will be hosting weekly online brainstorming sessions on Fridays from 12 to 1pm.
Stakeholder are encouraged to register and attend any of the five sessions that are of interest:
- Addressing the administrative burden, 2 May
- Funding of programs, 9 May
- Opportunities for industry support, 16 May
- Complexity of the VET system, 23 May
- The trainer and assessor role, 30 May
