Skills Insight has consulted with the veterinary sector to understand their diverse workforce needs and analyse current and future practices in veterinary nursing across a variety of animal species and contexts.
This Skills Review process was undertaken to collect crucial information to inform the revision of training package products so that they better reflect the real-world skills and knowledge required in veterinary nursing.
Online information sessions
Two online information sessions have been planned to outline findings and recommendations before training product development commences in stage two of the project.

Collecting Technical Committee expressions of interest
We are also seeking expressions of interest (EOIs) from stakeholders interested in being part of the Technical Committee for the project. Submissions are being collected on the project webpage via an online form, so we can make sure all relevant areas of expertise are included.
We ask that you please complete the EOI form by 7 August 2025.
