Australia’s glass and glazing industry is evolving, with advances in technology, changing building requirements and shifts in domestic manufacturing driving demand for new skills.
A new project is underway to review the Certificate II and III in Glass and Glazing, along with selected units and skill sets, to ensure training reflects current industry practice.
The project will explore emerging skills across fabrication, installation and glass processing, while considering opportunities for more flexible training pathways.
There will be opportunities to provide feedback on the draft qualifications, skill sets and units throughout the project.
