    The Meat Processing Pathways project is reviewing several AMP Training Package Certificate III Meat Processing qualifications, Skill Sets and units of competency to ensure these training products meet current and future industry needs.

Industry stakeholders including associations, unions, employers, workers, trainers and students are invited to provide insights on current and emerging workforce needs, and feedback on the draft products.     Join stakeholders from Australia’s automotive and marine trimming sectors to discuss the workforce challenges facing industrial sewing occupations. This consultation webinar will explore current and future demand for sewing machinists, recruitment and retention challenges, training pathways, and specialist sewing applications within vehicle, marine and transport manufacturing environments.

    Participants will hear key findings from the project’s research and have the opportunity to provide feedback on proposed workforce development initiatives designed to attract, train and retain the next generation of sewing machinists.
